Liam Asher Dorin
The meaning of names is pretty important to us. Liam is an Irish form of William meaning 'unwavering protector' or 'strong willed warrior'. Asher is a biblical name coming from Genesis 30:12-13. When Leah's servant Zilpah bore Jacob a second son, he made her so happy that she named him Asher, or happy. William will be his actual name which happens to be my father's dad's name, Dusty's grandfather's name on his mom's side (Pappy), and one of Dusty's brother's names. We also just learned that William has been a family name on Dusty's mom's side for every generation since 1790 (with the exception of two).
We debated on telling everyone the name now or waiting till later, but we decided to share.

ReplyDeleteI love Liam! We have thrown that name in the hat before too... but now we'll keep it out! (though I'm sure it'll be a while before we have to worry about it again)
